(an NPTEL course)

Call for TAs and Volunteers

👋🏽  I am looking for four TAs and ten volunteers who can join the team for the next edition of this course which will run during July 25, 2022 — October 14, 2022.

If you are a competitive programmer who enjoys helping people out in their learning journeys, do consider applying! If you are unable to commit this time in these durations but are interested in being involved, please consider applying for a volunteer position instead.

Thanks in advance for your interest! 🙌🏽

General Expectations from all team members

Please note that TAs and volunteers play a very crucial role in any course, and empower the learners by creating a positive learning environment.

We expect everyone on the team to be passionate about this shared goal for the course and to be a reliable team player. The overall culture is friendly and flexible, but this works best when everyone sports a honest work ethic and plays nice! 😎

  • The volunteer positions are unpaid at the moment. I will provide an experience letter based on the work done during the run of the course.
  • All team members get to be a part of an enthusiastic group of teammates and learners. This is a great opportunity to network and make impact!

Eligibility

  • Demonstrated competence in competitive programming on any standard CP platform (the specific rating is relatively unimportant as long as you are confident about your experience, even if it is more from practice than contests).
  • Familiarity with the materials of this course. Ideally, you have seen (or are willing to watch) the weekly videos or solve/read up on the equivalent material (e.g, the editorials for the problems discussed in the lectures).
  • There are no eligibility requirements in terms of academic qualifications.
